Blue Fever Inspired Look

Blue is my favorite color so when I saw Kloe Kardashian's makeup using blue/grey eyeshadows I was so inspired.  My goal was to recreate the beautiful and flawless application done by the fabulous Mario D. but it didn't turn out that way.

I have been experiencing allergies and eye tearing and I HATE IT!  I really want to use my new mink lashes from Lash Bunny Boutique 'Bunny Love' but due to my allergies I couldn't use my eye contacts.  Therefore, I only applied the lashes on one side just to see how it looks.

  • Maybelline Fit Me Concealer 'Sand' to highlight
  • Besame Cosmetics 'Brightening Vanilla' powder over 'Sand'
  • Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder '00 Transparent' over 'Brightening Vanilla' powder

LIPS:

  • MAC Lipstick 'Enchanted' (Discontinued)
  • MAC Lipglass 'Water Deities' (Discontinued)
After all this, I still couldn't put in my contacts and I was uncomfortable wearing my lash and glasses.  This dramatic look required lashes to complete the look. Therefore, I removed the lash and all except the colors on my lid to be comfortable -

March Haul & Favorites (Besame Cosmetics, Boscia, Michael Todd & Stila)

Sephora

I made a stop at Sephora to repurchase Boscia No Pores No Shine T-Zone Treatment, which I have been using for almost a year now and LOVE it. It's a treatment (obviously from the title) that helps reduce the appearance of your pores and shine.  I like to mix it with my moisturizer and apply to my face followed by foundation.  I also like to use it at night on the areas that I have large pores.

I was SUPER happy to see Besame at my local store.  I first saw this powder at Sehora.com and it immediately caught my attention so when I saw it at my local store, I bought the two shades:
* It comes in 3 shades: 2 shades are (above) are sold at the store; Violet shade sold online only.

These loose powders are soft and work beautifully leaving your skin flawless.  I love the packaging for traveling or "on the run" purposes because it comes in a small canister and a small puff - how convenient!  The puff is soft (usually a puff that comes with a product is too flat or hard and useless). It also has a scent that reminds me of a yellow cake batter from Betty Crocker, which I don't mind.  It's describe to help control redness and dark under circle yet brightening up the complexion.  It can be used on all skin types, over makeup or alone.

The Vanilla shade is for Light to Medium complexion.  I like to use it over my T-Zone where I apply my highlight.

The French Vanilla shade is for Medium to Dark complexion.  I like to use this on the rest of my face.

L to R: Bright Vanilla & French Vanilla

I have a love and hate relationship with loose powders that have yellow undertone.  My natural skin has yellow/gold undertone and I am conscious that my skin will look like a 'yellow cake.'  The Besame loose powder don't make me feel this way and better said not look it either.

Left: Ben Nye - Banana / Right: Besame - Vanilla

Simple and Natural look using both powders

Philosophy Hope in a jar eye cream
I redeem my points to get Philosophy eye cream.  It works great especially on dry eye lids, but it's pricey so of course I had to get 2 for 100 points each.

Michael Todd

I received a 20% discount so I had to restock on Charcoal Detox Cleanser and Antiox Serum. I wanted to try a NEW Toner since I was running low on my current as well as makeup wipes remover.  In my order, I received a free traveling size hand cream - cool.

I have discussed why I love so much the cleanser and serum in a previous review (skin).  The toner has been working nicely for my skin.  It's an alcohol-free toner that helps remove oil and dirt while leaving the skin hydrated.

The makeup wipes remover is infused with aloe and cucumber so it smells and feels fresh on my skin.  I was a bit skeptical because the towels are very thin compared to my favorite wipes made by Neutrogena.  M. Todd wipes were not as moist as Neutrogena either so I had to use 2 to 3 wipes to remove my makeup.  However, after using M. Todd wipes my skin felt so nice, clean and hydrated unlike the Neutrogena wipes that leave my skin feeling oily.  The packaging on M. Todd wipes is nicely packaged with a clip to close and secure 30 towels.  The towels never dried out even when I got to the end.

Stila.com

Stila Pro was giving a 1 day sale for 60% off the entire site (except items marked on sale).  I had to literally jump on this special since I read my email so late in the afternoon.  Most of what I wanted was already sold out, but I was able to get my hands these goodies.

Convertible Cream Blush Palette

I love Stila's cream blushes.  It blends beautifully on your cheeks and skin. I was SUPER HAPPY when Stila came out with this palette that contains all 12 shades!!! :)  These blushes can also be used on the lips.  Let's not forget that LARGE mirror.

Back of the palette

Magnificent Metals Eye Liner

NO PRIMER / Color: Metallic Black Tanzanite

This metallic eyeliner is SUPER CREAMY.  When I dipped my finger to swatch the color it glided across the pan and picked up way too much product.  The swatch above is without a primer and the color is describe to be a deep amethyst shimmer.

Due to how creamy this product is, I would recommend on using or getting a good strong primer such as NARS Longer Than Life Eye Primer or Too Face Glitter Primer especially if using as a base or eyeshadow.

The closest dupe that I own is MAC Mineralize eyeshadow 'Young Punk.'

Right to Left: Stila Metallic Black Tanzanite - MAC Young Punk (Dry) - MAC Young Punk (Wet)

One Step Bronzer

I like the fact this bottle has a pump to control the quantity.

Smudged

Swatch 1 - Blended under high light

Swatch 2 - Blended under low light

Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner

Left: 1 coat / Right: 2 coats
I love this waterproof long lasting liquid eye liner.  It's smudge proof, drys matte black and it drys quickly.  If you're looking to 'smudge' this liner you must do it immediately after applied.  The liner comes in 15 colors and has a thin felt tip that helps with control.

Movie - Cinderella
I really didn't care to see this movie because I didn't think that I would like it.  I WAS SO WRONG!!  It was a good girly movie and I enjoyed it :)
