Fall 2015 Makeup Look #1 - Plum/Purple

Swatches of the colors that I used in the palette

This is such a pretty color (4th swatch /left to right).  It reminds me of MAC e/s 'Creme De Violet'.  I used a Crown #C433 Pro Blending Brush to blend all over my lid.  It doesn't matter if you get some color on the crease.

Using the same brush, I blended this chocolate brown (2nd color from the swatches above/L to R) on my crease concentrating in the inner and outer crease.

Next, I combined these two colors (5th & 6th color in the swatches above) and blended over the chocolate color on my crease and with little to no product on the brush, I blended above the crease.

I actually used the Caramel color (next to the pink/first color from swatches above/Left to Right) first on my crease as my transitional color before I applied any other colors.

This pretty pink eye shadow went above the crease

Last, I applied Inglot pigment #35 on the lid

I used the same colors on lower lash line (except the pink and caramel color)

Hautelook Haul - Josie Moran, Ardency Inn & Morphe Brushes

I did some damage shopping at Hautelook.com

Hautelook was having GREAT BEAUTY deals and I purchased:

  • Josie Maran
  • Ardency Inn
  • Morphe Brushes

Josie Moran
Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil illuminizing Body Butter

I saw Josie Maran share this product on QVC (or at least mentioned a product similar to it) and I knew I WANTED it.  Hautelook had it for $7.00 each so I purchased 2.  It's a small container, smells wonderful and leaves a small shimmer (illuminizer) on your body.

Soft pink radiance Vanilla Fig Scent

The consistency is thick but feels so nice on the skin and fresh.

Ardency Inn

I started using Ardency Inn products last year mainly eye products and have come to really like it.  I've been tempted to try the foundation except I find it pricey for the amount of product you get.  However, it has almost the same concept as Cover FX Custom Cover Drops so by mixing the foundation with other products you will save from using too much of it.

Shades: Medium Beige and Medium Golden

I purchased two different shades (shades name above) and have not stopped using it since I received it.  I love it!!!  It matches me perfectly, it's light weight, medium to full coverage, has a pump and gives me such a beautiful "skin" finish.  The bottle is 0.5 oz and I only paid $15 on Hautelook opposed to $38 at Sephora.  I combined both colors by using one pump of each and mix it with my liquid bronzer and highlighter.

The texture is thick and it doesn't dry too quickly after applying on the face, which I like so you can blend without rushing.  I use a palette to mix my liquid and cream and what I have noticed is that it would dry quickly on the palette.

Supercharge Eye Liners - Top: Hot Pink  / Bottom: Grey

I love the Supercharge Eye liners because it's creamy, applies smoothly and lasts a long time.  It works great on the water line especially for those who have sensitive eyes.  I paid $7.50 each on Hautlook opposed to $19 at Sephora.

Teddy Boy pigment

I am a huge fan of pigments and when I saw this color it screamed "FALL" to me.  It's such a pretty maroon/red color with turquoise glitter.  The pigment contains 0.05 oz and I paid 12.00  on Hautlook opposed to paying $32.00 at Sephora.

No Base

Morphe Brushes:

Left: Blush Palette 9 B / Right: Eye Palette 35 W

Swatches of the 35 W Palette below (no base applied)

Row 2 / Left to Right

Row 3 / Left to Right

Row 4 / Left to Right

Row 5 / Left to Right

Swatches of the Blush Palette - starting from row 1 - left side and working across (no base) -----

This is my first time ever trying makeup by Morphe Brushes.  As you can see from the swatches above, the eye and blush palette is very pigmented and opaque. The texture is soft and easy to blend with no fall outs.  Both palettes are great to use on any skin complexion since it has a diverse of colors from matte, satin and shimmer as well as a great everyday use.

I paid $15 for each palette on Hautelook opposed to $39.95 on Morphe Brushes.com.  Click the link above - the 2 two palettes are on sale for $19.99.
