November/December Haul

Here are a few goodies I round up during November and December that I like and some I REALLY like. Lets get started:

SEPHORA:
NARS e/s Duo
w/o a base

This duo e/s normally costs $33, but I paid more then 1/2 that price so I got 2.  The colors are very pretty & pigmented.  However, the colors are  very similar to L'oreal HIP duo e/s 'Flamboyant' (below).

Anastasia's Brow Stencils

 Philosophy

I LOVE Philosophy's Hope in a jar for dry skin!!!  It's a moisturizer for dry skin and this works beautiful during the cold weather.

Make Up Forever

This transparent light pigment gives a glow under UV light.  It can be apply on the face, body, hair...basically where ever you like.

ULTA:
TARTE COSMETICS

I have come to REALLY love Tarte Cosmetics.  This line doesn't disappoint me at all!!!  The set was $25 and it includes a FULL size clay gel liner, which is what I really wanted (original price $22), mini size mascara, cheek stain and lip Surgence - AMAZING!! + 20 % coupon I had...Merry X-mas to me.

Waterproof Clay Shadow/Liner
Swatch - pretty black
Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara
I haven't played with this product yet, but it's known to be like a "push-up bra" giving your lashes a natural 4-1 (lengthening, curling, volumizing & conditioning) mascara.

Mini Size (L to R) 'Flush' Cheek stain and 'Enchanted' Lip Surgence

R to L: swatches - lip surgence and cheek stain
This is my first time ever trying a cheek stain and it smells so good.  The lip surgence makes the lips feel very nice as well.  I really do like like both of these products.  It makes the color on your cheek & lip last longer, no smearing and no allergic reaction.

REVLON
Revlon Tweezer Expert

Move over Tweezerman because this Revlon Tweezer works AMAZING!!!  It pulls the most smallest hair that's hard to get.

MAC:
Opulash Optimum Black Mascara
Wand - very nice!
I have come to really like this mascara!!!  It's become my everyday go to get product.  It makes my eyes pop because it's jet black.  I was told that it's not recommend for sensitive eyes, which I have, but as soon as I tried it I had no reaction - a food for thought.

Miss Piggy Pink e/s

Swatch over white base (NYX 'Milk')
This eyeshadow is SO PRETTY!!!  WELL DONE MAC!!!
I've used this eyeshadow on my lid, cheeks and lips.  I really like this product.

Cream Colour Base 'Black'
Swatch - last to bottom

Ok, this product is not new.  It came out in the BLACK Collection last year or the year before.  It seems as all my gel liners just dried out.  Therefore, I began to use this Black Cream Colour base as an eyeliner and it works beautifully.  As you can see on the swatch, it's a rich creamy black liner.

The Makeup Show: products I purchased -

LA Splash
3 glitters/2 pigments/1 lipgloss/1 liquid eyeliner
Liquid Eyeliner 'Charcoal'
Swatch - middle -more like light black/gray
Lipgloss: 'Pink Fusion' (Gold w/glitter)
Glitter: Red = 'Starlight Red'/Silver Multi Color = 'Silver Wave
Glitter: Fuschia = 'Phenomenon'
 Pigment: Brown = 'Regal'/ Silver/Gray = 'Premium'

I LOVE the fuchsia glitter so I began playing with it and came up with the dramatic/crazy look using the following products:
'Miss Piggy Pink' e/s on lid and cheeks
LA Splash Lipgloss 'Pink Fusion'
LA Splash Glitter 'Phenomenon' as an eyeliner
Other products - DEX NY, Inglot & Jemma Kidd

O.C.C

L to R: 'Hooch' (bright fuchsia) and 'Uber' (brown/taupe)

Crown Brushes
32 Lip Palette - very pretty colors

2 Blending Brushes - 1 w/angle and the other is like MAC 217 *MY FAVORITE*

L to R: C325 Large Pro Angle Blender (great for cutting the crease) & C433 Pro Blending Fluff

C413 Brow Duo
Angle side to apply color to the brow
Spoolie Side to brush brow before applying color
Retractabel Lip Brush *MY Favorite* I bought 2
Brush Tip
 Armour
Lipgloss 'Dreaming'
Swatch - color is like a mauve/plum w/glitter.  Very pretty for Fall/Winter

TARGET
 Hello Kitty Light Lamp

Isn't this the most adorable lamp?!?!  I paid $20.00, which wasn't bad and requires 2 AA batteries.  I can now apply my makeup hands free.  This mirror has 2 sides = 1 regular and the other side is magnifying.

EVE PEARL COSMETICS:

This is Eve's NEW Liquid Foundation.  As you can see, it has a pump and you just have to twist the cap to open.  This is a HD Liquid Foundation that is Sheer, Silky and smooth from Medium to Full Coverage.  I have been using this foundation ever since I purchased it 2 weeks ago and I LOVE it.  It reminds me of Make Up Forever HD foundation except the consistency is much more lighter on the skinYou do not need to apply water like her cream foundation.  I recommend shaking the bottle first and you will only need 1 to 1 1/2 pump.  I like using my MAC/Sigma 188 brush to apply.
