Sephora VIB Haul

Hello Loves - 

Sephora had there VIB 15% sale recently and O.M.G.  I completely lost control, which hurts especially since the sale ended the same week IMATS in NYC started.  This event was open to all Beauty Insiders as: VIB Rouge card holders had the privilege to shop a week before it was publicly announced; VIB card holders were able to shop as of 4/2; and last Beauty Insider card holders were able to shop as of 4/4.  I made my purchases online and in the store so lets get started...

Limited Edition Sephora + Pantone Universe Rush Luster Cheek Sweep

 

This was my FIRST purchase because I completely fell in love with this cheek palette.  It's beautiful; pigmented; The texture and quality is so nice and soft; and it works on any skin complexion.  This palette is apart of Sephora's Pantone limited edition collection and it retails for $26.00.   

Face Products: Primer and Foundation

Since I purchased my BECCA foundation in February, I've been loving this brand.  Therefore, I wanted to try more of there products.  Sadly, I didn't  get a chance to buy 'Flower Child' blush, but I was able to return my Hourglass Veil Primer (it had a packaging defect) and purchase BECCA's Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector.  This primer is supposed to help your foundation lasts up to 12 hours, reduce pores and help with anti-shine.  I like the product but not the packaging.  I have to really squeeze for the product to come out and when closing it the top would get stuck.  Overall, it's a good primer. It retails for $36.

Buxom Cosmetics has recently caught my attention, especially 'Show Some Skin Weightless' Foundation.  I started to research the brand, surf Youtube and read blog posts to learn more about it.  I have come to LOVE this foundation within a week after using it!  It feels more like a BB cream than a foundation, which I love because it meets it's signature "weightless" yet it gives a pleasant luminous look on the skin (nothing strong) perfect for the summer.  It's medium coverage.  This retails for $34.00.

I returned my Make Up Forever HD Foundation and repurchased another BECCA Ultimate Coverage Complexion Creme foundation.  Yes, that's how much I love this foundation! :)  I also repurchased GlowGlam face mask that has helped me so much especially with my blackheads.

Limited Purple Beauty Blender

I am a huge beauty blender fan, but seriously purple - thank you beauty blender.  This is a limited edition only but I love it!  It retails for $19.95.    

Kat Von D Long Everlasting Love Liquid Lipstick

I have to say I was like a mad woman hunting down these 2 particular colors in 'LUV' and 'Vampira'. Every week I would call my local Sephora to ask if more lipsticks arrived and every week it was the same answer "NO."  After 1 month 1/2, I became so inpatient that I began calling all Sephora's in NYC (and a few in Florida, Rochester and any area I have family members, lol).  I finally found it in Long Island.  It retails for $19.00 each.

Mix & Match box for $25.00

This was actually my last purchase during the sale.  Sephora is bringing in Spring/Summer collection and it's nice.  I think this box is so cute and brings nice goodies, which includes:

1. - Nails Inc. nail polish in 'Devonshire Row,' which is a pretty orchid purple (season color)
2. - Deborah Lippmann nail polish in 'Girls just want to have fun.'  The color is a cool coral, which I LOVE because it's color I love to rock all year round!
3. - Sephora Formula X in 'Invincible' which is a pretty light cream color.
4. - BITE Beauty Lush Fruit Lip Gloss in 'Strangefruit' is a purple/pink.
5. - Hourglass Extreme Sheen High Shine Lip Gloss mini size in 'Child.'  This color is a nude/peach color.  
6. - Tarte Lipsurgence Lip Tint in 'Elite.'  The color is in a rose/pink

Sephora gave this free small striped cosmetic bag to all VIB card holders.  It's so cute that I immediately fell in love with it. 

Buxom Shimmering Plumping Shine lipgloss (100 Points)

This color is so pretty and nice for the summer except if feels like Vicks on my lips.  It claims to be a "lip plumper" but it's not.  However, the feeling goes away after it settles and made my lips feel very soft.
