L'OREAL HIP DUO - N- 'Flamboyant'

I've been eyeing L'oreal Duo's for a long time especially this color.  It's so pretty and vibrant, but I never bought it because it reminded me of MAC's Limited Style Warriors - Vibrant Grape (purple) and Bright Future (yellow).  In my opinion, it is similar and both are very gorgeous.  Therefore, if you never purchased those two colors from MAC this is a perfect substitute. I bought different colors so I'll be posting further looks.

Eyes:

Too Face Eye Primer

MAC 'Bare Study' Paint Pot

L'oreal Duo - 'yellow' in the inner to middle of lid

L'oreal Duo - 'purple' in the middle lid to outer lid

Using MAC #224 blending brush, I blend the outer lid using the 'purple'

MAC 'Da Bling' e/s on the crease and blending up toward the brow

L'oreal Duo 'purple' under the waterline and then using MAC #217 blending brush to give it a smokey look

Urban Decay 'Zero' eyeliner on lid and waterline

LIPS:

MAC LE Lipstick 'Full Body' 

MAC LE Lipglass 'Personal Taste' - LOVE this color and the combination with the lipstick. I had to buy 2 of each before it was completely gone from the store.

 I didn't use a  lip liner but if you like to use it the following are good matches: Quartz (MAC); Blackberry (Bitchslap) or Mahogany (NYX)

 This is not very good picture, but the colors I used are from MAC Style Warriors so you can compare to L'oreal Duo Flamboyant.

Urban Decay - Alice in the Wonderland

I received my palatte early this week and I was like a BIG kid who just received a NEW toy, lol.  I love it so much!!!!  The colors are beautiful and has a really nice pay off.

Sigma Brushes

I want to congratulate Sigma on there 1st year Anniversary and for expanding the line. I've been using Sigma brushes since July of 2009.  I had to wait to July to receive it because as soon as the word was out about these wonderful brushes of course everyone was purchasing it and then it was out of stock. I first heard of this line by Tiffany from Youtube (MakeupbyTiffanyD - I will post info at the end). These brushes are hand made just like MAC and I repeat it's soft and works wonderful. I paid $79.00 for all the brushes including the brush roll. Now is that a great price or what?!?!?! Sigma also sells individual brushes such as the SS# 188 (foundation/blush); #109 (couture/blush/foundation) and #182 (buffer brush).

MAC vs. Sigma #187

'Pros' of the SS Brush it's very soft and the bristles are as the same as MAC's #187

'Cons' of the SS Brush it's longer than MAC 187.  However, that may be a good thing for some.  I have short arms and little hands yet I still feel comfortable using this brush.

Overall, I love both brushes Sigma and MAC.

Sigma #224 and #219 are much longer than MAC's #224 & #219 but it works just the same.  In fact, these are my 2 favorite brushes and I use it more than MAC.  At first, I wasn't feeling SS #224 & #219 cause the bristles didn't look like MAC's but as soon as I tried it I FELL IN LOVE - it's so soft and blends so nicely.  Besides using #219 for smudging or smoking out the eye, I also like the pay off using it for the lips especially using dark colors like RED.  Therefore, I now use SS #219 for the eye and MAC #219 for lips (it scratches the eye a bit but works beautiful for the lips).
